Name: Charlie Foster

Organization: San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department

Alleged Bad Behavior: Charlie Foster allegedly involved in a 3 hour pursuit of a suspect.  At the end of the pursuit, Charlie Foster was accused of beating and taunting the suspect.      

Result:  A jury convicted Charlie Foster of assault by a public officer but the presiding judge set aside the verdict and Charlie Foster was allowed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace.  Charlie Foster was originally fired from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, however, he successfully appealed the termination and currently works at the Sheriff's detention center in Adelanto.

Name: Jimmy Alfred Walker

Organization: Barstow Police Department

Alleged Bad Behavior: In 2010, Jimmy Walker allegedly was involved in an off duty drunken assault on a black man when he began spouting racial epithets.      

Result:  Jimmy Walker was originally charged with battery and committing a hate crime for the 2010 incident.  Jimmy Walker plead guilty to fighting and drunk in public.  Jimmy Walker was fired from the Barstow Police Department, however, he successfully appealed the termination and currently works for the Barstow Police Department.

Alleged Bad Behavior: In 2018, Jimmy Walker one of several officers involved in the shooting of Diante Yarber, an unarmed black man.  Diante Yarber was in a vehicle with three other individuals.  Diante Yarber was allegedly stopped on the grounds that the vehicle was suspicious and Diante Yarber was wanted for questioning.  As much as 30 bullets were fired by all officers including Jimmy Walker, killing Diante Yarber and injuring a female passenger after the vehicle allegedly accelerated, almost hitting an officer.      

Result:  No action was taken.
